Calendula pharmaceutical for skin protection

The alcohol liqueur (or aqueous infusion) of calendula decreases or entirely ceases inflame artery processes and accelerates the regeneration of tissues.     The infusion of calendula (two table spoons to the liter of water) can be used for the rubbing of face with porous or fatty skin, and also with the blackheads. This solution of calendula possesses the binding affect, decreases sebaceous excretions, prevents the appearance of blackheads, calms the irritation of the skin. There are very effective ointments from calendula, which can be prepared in a following manner: 1. 10 or 20 ml of alcohol for the infusion. Here are some examples.
1. Mix and grind 10 or 20 ml of alcohol the infusion of calendula with 90 or 80 grams of Vaseline (ten or twenty percent ointment).
2. Mix 10 ml of alcohol liqueur or fresh juice of calendula with 100 grams of lanoline, (possible with the lard oil).
3. Grind 5 grams of the dry, pulverized lobes of flowering calendula with 25 grams of Vaseline.
4. The obtained ointments are used for decreasing the irritations, the inflamma-tions, the blackheads on skin.
